Student Outcomes

Job Acquisition and Promotion

Our graduates typically gain mid-level management positions at college and universities. In a 2014 survey, our alumni feedback emphasized the importance of the program to them in getting jobs, enhancing their job performance, securing promotions, and gaining national visibility in higher educational professional associations. In addition, informal feedback in the form of emails, letters, and phone calls from both alumni and current students continues to reflect gratitude for the program’s contribution to their success—as well as our remarkable personal connections with them.

Upon graduation, 88% to 90% of our M.S.Ed. students on average have either earned new jobs or continued with their current employment, often with promotions and/or pay raises; and 10% to 12% are enrolled in doctoral programs. At least 40% of our graduates go on later to enter doctoral programs and earn Ph.Ds or Ed.Ds.

Many Backgrounds and Cultures

Our students come from diverse areas of the nation and world, i.e., California, Canada, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Florida, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Kentucky, Mexico, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Venezuela, etc.
